The creation of a new videomusic work - Episode 3

After having explained his initial intentions and his work plan, et after having described his sound collecting process, Dominic Thibault tells us what he has done so far as Sixtrum's percussionists start rehearsing his new piece.

Recordes last December 12, this video will let us find out how the project has evolved since the beginning.  As you will discover, the music has now reached its definitive form, and its general tone his clearly established.

We will conclude this "making off" in a few days with a sneak preview of the video part of this new work, which will be premiered next January 19.

Last Monday, November 7th, percussion ensemble Sixtrum presented the concert Histoires de gestes at the Society for Arts and Technologies (SAT). The concert was based on pieces which exploited in different ways, the concept of gesture in music.
