Direct from Tromp in Eindhoven, Holland

Eindhoven, city of lights and design, hosts Tromp Percussion. Publicity for this percussion festival can be seen everywhere in the city.

The “Tromp Competition” is an international competition presented by the Tromp Organisation at Muzikegbouw Frits Philips, next to the train station in Eindhoven. Thirty percussionists from different countries participate in the eight-day competition. The first two rounds have just finished and the semi-final takes place tomorrow. Organizers have just announced that the percussion competition will take place every two years.
